Josh Dorfman, green entrepreneur and television host of The Lazy Environmentalist (now showing on the Sundance Channel), is also the author of the newly released book The Lazy Environmentalist on a Budget: Save Money. Save Time, Save the Planet. In his second book, Josh sets out to create environmental change with easy, stylish, and affordable solutions.
The Lazy Environmentalist on a Budget will appeal to business-minded readers. Each chapter includes a mini-case study of some green company such as RecycleBank, SolarCity, Zero Motorcycles, Cyber-Rain, and Walk Score, etc.
Jetson Green readers will also enjoy the chapters on water conservation, energy savings, green home remodeling, and environmental careers. It's all with a focus on affordability, which is something we could use a little more of. Go give the book a look at your nearest bookstore, or buy a copy at:

great post for college students.
Full time college + Part time artist/designer = way to little green to spend on green
(So, winning this book would be great!)
great blog, i hope the book is just as good.
I could really benefit from this book! My ‘green’ thumb is not so green!
The mini-case studies sound very interesting – it’s always good to hear how green practices are working out in real life!
Books like this get me siced!
Great blog – the book looks really interesting!
Thanks!
I’ve really enjoyed Jetson Green since discovering it a few weeks ago. Count me in for this book drawing.
Definitely on a budget and just bought my first home.
i own dorfman’s first book, “the lazy environmentalist” and i really love it. i would love to read this book also.
I would love to have this book in my collection.
Favorite blog dealing with creative environmental architecture and design.
Good to see that “green” has gone mainstream enough to allow for the lazy’s to get in on the action. *Aren’t we all a bit lazy from time to time….?
After being reduced to part time at my current job, I could use a little extra reading material. I just caught an episode of the show through onDemand and liked it much better than whatever the show with the girl from TBS’ dinner and movie is on now where she tries to help people go green.
looks like a good read…i could give some tips to some of my lazy friends…hehehe…:D
Lazy and green… the new America?
Love the blog. Need to add some book to my summer reading list!
I’m a lazy college student. Pick me.

Green for the rest of us…
Lazy that fits me to a T.

Please add me to the list of people desiring a copy of this book
Hooray Green!
I would like a copy.
Ah, well. Now there are two I want.
My wife tells me I am most certainly a lazy environmentalist!
My wife and I would really benefit from this book. We are in the beginning stages of selling “almost” every possession. The Furniture…Gone, The Art work…Gone, The Large SUV…It’s all soon to be history and not soon enough. We’re not selling because we’re in financial trouble, we always have lived within our means. We’re selling to simplify our lives. We want to get rid of the static of the world and live life how we feel that it was suppose to be lived. We’re not sure what we’re going to do after we sell our home (and every unneeded item that we have collected along the way) but we’re ready for the journey. My only concern is that we may not have space in our new home for an extra book đŸ˜‰
Chris W, congrats! You’re the winner of this book. I’ll email you to get your information to send the book.
I’m from Washington + I’d love to win this book! Yay!

I’d love to win this for my son, a budding environmentalist!
Great Website. I spend way too much time following the links in all the posts. I’m going to start a remodel in a couple of months, so this book would be helpful. peace.
thanks.
My wife and I have been looking at building or remodeling green. Would love this book…
Been a tree hugger all my life, so this book sounds appealing. Just found this website and am glad i did.
As I am considering building an active energy efficient house, I am definitely interested in this book.

I’ve heard so many great things about this book and that it gives really good insight to those who are unaware and unmotivated. For those who still are skeptical should put this on their reading list just for reference, and a little more knowledge.
