Easy DIY Furniture

Designers Maria Roca and Erika Biarnes of the firm Be-elasticto from Barcelona, Spain, created an innovative set of metal clips, which can be clipped on to any type of flat material to create a table, or another type of flat piece of furniture. Salvaged Trailer Turned Into a Tiny Home

It’s always nice to see recycled materials being used to build homes, and when it’s done with tiny homes it’s even more commendable. Ron Rusnak from Ashland, Oregon recently did just that. He turned a decommissioned trailer into a tiny home. He then sold it on Craigslist for $36,500 to a homeowner from Portland.

Awesome Office Conversion Using Pallets

Pallets are sturdy and abundant, and therefore a great material for upcycling to meet a number of architecture and design needs. A Tokyo based firm Hiroki Tominaga Atelier recently used them in a unique office space renovation. What’s more, they were able to do so without the end result looking like a DIY project.

Snowboarder Builds an Awesome Off-Grid Cabin

Mike Basich is a photographer and one of the pioneers of snowboarding and he recently completed a unique off-the-grid tiny home in the mountains. As a pro snowboarder he used to live in a large mansion, which came with all the trimmings of modern living, but he has now retired to a place where he can enjoy nature and the simple life.
