Dwell Developments is seeking to rectify this via their new development in Seattle, the so-called Live/Work. These are a home-office hybrid and were designed to make working from home more comfortable and better for the environment.

Sustainable Wooden Home

Living small isn’t for everyone, but this wooden house is a prime example of just how an open plan design and plenty of large windows can make a home appear more spacious than it is. This home was designed by Check firm ASGK Design and is located in the eastern part of Bohemia, in the Czech Republic.

The Y:Cube, a prefab modular block of apartments has just been completed in London. It will provide comfortable and affordable units for the city’s homeless.
