Limited Number of Superhouses to Be Built

Magnus Ström, the owner of UK firm Ström Architects, has announced plans to design and build a limited number of superhouses. The idea is simple: construct luxury homes with all the modern amenities that feature sustainable technology, which allows them to operate completely independent of the grid. The houses are currently in the concept stage.

Low-income S House Closer to Mass Production

A few months ago the firm Vo Trong Nghia Architects of Vietnam unveiled the prototype of the so-called S House, which was aimed at providing a decent and affordable home for low-income families. The home is now about to go into mass production, and each unit will cost less than $1000 to build.
