As of January 2011, this is believed to be the highest scoring LEED Platinum home in the state of Florida with 112 points. Located at 4512 Grove Park in Tallahassee, the craftsman bungalow style home is owned by Mark and Linda Powell and features two-level living, SIPs construction, a large solar PV array, and EPA Indoor airPLUS certification.
This is a newly constructed contemporary home in Winter Park, Florida. It was designed for a family of four by John Drake of Green Apple Architecture and has 2,988 square feet, as well as terraces, courtyard spaces, and cozy family gathering areas. As a certified green home, it’s also a good example of the kind of home that can be built with proper planning, a decent budget, and the right team.

The $700,000 home was designed by Carlson Studio Architects, and the Herald Tribune reports that it already received LEED Platinum certification. Impressive.
