Couple Build a Fun Tiny Home

ext

Samantha and Robert, a couple hailing from Yakima, Washington, recently built their first home together. They both enjoy an adventurous lifestyle, from backpacking through Europe and South America, to road tripping across the US, so moving into a tiny home will be just another adventure for them. Old Barn Given New Life

ext

I always like seeing old buildings renovated in a way that doesn’t diminish their historic charm, yet still gets them ready for the new millennium. The furniture line is called CRISSCROSS and consists of flat pack cupboards, wardrobes and desks. Sam is a recent graduate, and his main goal in creating it was providing furniture, which would be easy to pack up and take with you when you’re moving. (more…)

ext

Scandinavian design is well known for its simple aesthetics and minimalism, and this cabin located in the Jutland area of Denmark is a prime example of that. It is small, with a footprint of just 258 square feet (24 sq m) yet it looks and feels very cozy. Personally, I think it could easily be a full time tiny home, and not just a vacation house. (more…)
