First LEED Platinum Home in Fort Worth

This new home is the first and only LEED Platinum home in Fort Worth, Texas.  Designed by Philip Newburn of Dobbins+Crow Architects, the minimalist home occupies an infill lot in the Ryan Place neighborhood and features an abundance of green features, such as fiber cement siding, natural daylighting, Energy Star windows and doors, and xeriscaping.

Traditional LEED Platinum in Georgia

New World Home, a design-build company, recently took LEED Platinum for another traditional home in Geogia.  Like the other one nearby, this Marietta home was factory-built in modules and has a slew of green features.  It’s the company’s Chadwick design and the award-winning home also carries NAHB Gold and EarthCraft Gold certifications.

A New Path for Green Building Codes
