LV Series Prefab Home on Whidbey Island

This Rocio Romero LV Series home was built in 2007 on Whidbey Island in Washington.  The owners have the 11-acre patch of land and home listed for sale for $429,000, which includes 1,190 square feet, 2 bedrooms, and 1.75 bathrooms.  The listing says the home has stainless appliances, CaesarStone countertops, bamboo floors, radiant heat, and everything else that comes with an LV model home.  Check out this modern prefab:

LEED Platinum Sungazing Home in Utah

A New Rocio Romero Prefab in California

This is martial arts instructor and ex-photographer Steve Rapport’s LV home, a modern prefab designed by Rocio Romero, in Pacifica, California.  Steve has been documenting the construction and working budget on his site, The Minnie House — a reference to his late mom, Mina, sometimes called Minnie — and the finished home is looking fantastic.  Check out some interior and exterior photos below:

Celo Residence Connects with Nature

This is the Celo Residence, an award-winning guest house adjacent to an organic farm overlooking the South Toe River in Celo, North Carolina.  The home received an Honor Award from AIA Ashville and was featured in Fine Homebuilding and most recently in EcoHome Magazine with a Grand Award.  Celo Residence was Energy Star certified and received a 75 HERS with projected total energy costs of less than $30 a month.

Eco Modern Home on the Columbia River

This is the Vancouver Airport Home, or the Hotchkiss Residence, located along the Columbia River in Vancouver, Washington.  It was designed by Rick Berry of Scott Edwards Architecture and built by Hammer & Hand for retired couple in need of a single-level, one-bedroom abode.  The owners have lived on the site for 40 years and the existing structure was recycled prior to building this one.
