This is a project called Sustainable Stuart – the name comes from its location on Stuart Street – by Imagine Infill in Denver, Colorado. It features two, attached, single-family homes, and we have pictures of one of the homes, 3288 Stuart. 3288 Stuart received LEED Gold, EPA Indoor AirPlus, and Energy Star certifications.
Inhabit makes a line of 3D wall flats from bagasse, a fiber that’s left over after juice is removed from sugarcane. The wall flats are popular and the styles are contemporary. There’s also a few more designs that were added to the line in June, including Luna, Hive, and Drift flats shown in this article. Inhabit says the flats are non-toxic and biodegradable. A box of wall flats [$] costs $86 and includes 10 tiles covering up to 22.5 square feet.
Recently Southwest Windpower announced the availability of the popular Skystream 3.7 wind turbine at select Home Depot stores. The move puts small wind within reach of more customers as the industry expands every year. Southwest will start the installation program in Texas, Nevada, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and California with additional states in the near future.
