Ed Begley Jr: Green Efforts Make Sense

As part of Ford’s futuring and trend conference, Forward with Ford 2011, the company placed a significant emphasis on sustainability and its efforts in this area.  The company invited Ed Begley Jr., celebrity environmentalist and host of Living with Ed, to speak about his eco-friendly lifestyle and environmental advocacy efforts.  Ed stressed that in his 41 years being an outspoken advocate for the environment there are ways to make and save green while going green.

Decathlon Shuffled to West Potomac Park

Earlier this month, we reported a rumor that Solar Decathlon 2011 was heading to the National Harbor in Maryland.  But, it turns out, as announced today by the Department of Energy and Department of Interior, the big event will be shuffled to West Potomac Park.

Rumor: Decathlon to National Harbor

Update: Solar Decathlon Shuffled to West Potomac Park

A spokeswoman for student participants is reported to have said Solar Decathlon 2011 will be held at the National Harbor in Maryland, according to John McArdle, reporter for E&E News.  I have not confirmed the accuracy of this information and there has been no official announcement of a location change to date.
