They also installed used triple-glazed windows throughout the building. Thanks to this, the structure will only require minimal heating in winter, while open windows will likely be enough to cool it in the summer.

These panels also function as a vapor barrier and cladding, and are bolted directly into the container frame. The same goes for the windows, roof elements and interior floor slabs. All the water, electricity and heating installations were left visible, which adds to the industrial look, and enables a quick disassembly of the office. Also, Arcgency estimates that about 90 percent of the office is recyclable.





Made to be Moved was constructed over a four months and was completed in the beginning of 2015. The construction costs came in at about $889 (€800) per square meter. To compare, an office building of the same size constructed using traditional methods, would cost around $2,446 (€2,200) per square meter.
