The sitting area is located near a large window which offers a great view of the mountains, lets in plenty of natural daylight, and effectively gives the illusion that the apartment is bigger than it is. This sitting room is equipped with a cushioned bench, which can double as a guest bed.

The main living area also contains a dining or work table, which can be folded down in the space between the sitting area and the bedroom when needed. The tiny apartment also contains a fully equipped kitchen, which is hidden behind a large white curtain adding to the appearance that the apartment is bigger than it actually is.

The architects used a very conservative array of materials and colors to create this tiny apartment, namely wood and warm colored paint, along with clever storage areas and division of different areas of the home. This allowed them to turn what was once a poorly lit, uninviting tiny apartment into a comfortable modern home.
