7 Bryant Park Aims to Offer LEED Gold Office Spaces in Manhattan

New York has just welcomed luxurious green office tower 7 Bryant Park to its streets, with Mayor Michael Bloomberg leading a groundbreaking ceremony on February 26. Designed by Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, the building will cover 470,000 square feet of LEED Gold certified office space.

Located on the corner of 40th Street and Sixth Avenue, the project is on track to completion by the end of 2014. It will be designed to provide office space and infrastructure to small businesses, equipped with 28-stories of gorgeous Bryant Park views, easy accessibility to Times Square and Grand Central Station, outdoor terraces, and a green roof.

It will achieve LEED Gold certification by using insulating glass that provides enhanced thermal performance and energy-saving mechanical systems throughout the building.
