Research suggests that homeowners with solar PV will recoup the cost of their solar investment upon sale of the home. Homes with PV systems sell for a premium over comparable homes without PV systems, according to a study of home sales in California from 2000-2009 by the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
3form — creator and fabricator of modern, eco-friendly surfaces — is in the middle of Greenweek, which is an annual effort to improve environmental performance within the company. So it makes sense that they would introduce a new material made with used paper cuts. Paper Cut is a Varia Ecoresin with at least 40% pre-consumer recycled content; it’s made in 48″ x 96″ sheets of various gauges. Looks fun!

In December 2010, we migrated the site from Typepad to WordPress and would like to polish things a little bit.
