These Baltic Townhomes at Rivers Edge recently hit the market, aiming to provide a unique green living experience for folks in the New England area. Located in Manchester, New Hampshire, roughly 45 minutes from Boston, the four-unit project is the first American project by developer Super Bebris of Latvia, which uses a proprietary system of timber and steel construction.
Baltic Townhomes have a little more than 1,600 square feet and the units each received individual HERS Index Ratings of between 51-54. The builder also obtained Gold certification pursuant to the National Green Building Standard.
Baltic Builders constructed the project using a system from Super Bebris, which relies on engineered spruce beams assembled in a double wall construction method, filled with eco-friendly blown insulation. Energy efficient windows and doors maintain the tight envelope and help reduce energy used for heating and cooling.
Each green townhouse includes a ground-floor garage, two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, an office/den, and an open kitchen, living room, and dining area.
Homes are listed with The Masiello Group for $244,900 to $249,900 and come with high-end kitchens, custom bathrooms, glass and steel balconies, and hand-crafted stairs between three levels.
