Preview of the HGTV Green Home 2010

As in the prior years, HGTV is planning the giveaway of a new green home. The HGTV Green Home 2010 is located in The Pinehills neighborhood of Plymouth, Massachusetts. The home is still under construction, so HGTV is in the process of trickling out new details from time to time. Here’s a little of what we know so far:

The green home is being built with green and sustainable materials, as well as low-water landscaping, permeable pavers, rainwater collection, soy-based spray foam insulation, Energy Star roofing, solar photovoltaics, and Smart Sun efficient windows.

The first HGTV Green Home in 2008 was located in Tradition Hilton Head, South Carolina, and the second HGTV Green Home in 2009 was located in Port St. Lucie, Florida. We’ll update this article in the future as the interior and exterior of this year’s home is completed.

I love, love, love this house. My only problem is that it interrupts my sleep because I dream about winning the home and moving accross the country.
HGTV did a fabulous job on their 2010 Green Home!

This is a really Beautiful home for someone,my husband is a fireman for Athens Clark County in Athens Ga. the home he built for us is energy efficient..You would have to see our HOME to really understand..Thanks for letting me enter this give away..
