You’ve probably heard about Marmol Radziner Prefab‘s latest single-module offering called the RINCON, right? RINCON is the moniker for their latest modular series, a line of homes that can double as a small prefab dwelling or ancillary living structure, you name it. The name is inspired by the Spanish word for "nook" — an apt description for this little accessory structure. The largest model in the series is RINCON 5, and it’s a 660 sf model with full kitchen, living room, bedroom, and deck area.
RINCON 5 comes standard with custom aluminum windows, metal siding, heating and air conditioning, Ecotimber bamboo floors, kitchenette with walnut cabinets, Caesarstone countertops, Liebherr refrigerator, Dacor range, Fagor dishwasher, Kohler and Hansgrohe fixtures, Dal Tile in shower, built-in shade pockets, ipe deck, and a set of stairs.
MRP has the RINCON 5 priced at $179,000 plus tax, with delivery, installation, foundation, and utility hookups all additional. Certain upgrades are also available, including solar panels, polished concrete flooring, Heath Ceramic tiles, recycled denim insulation, low-VOC paint, and LED lighting.
There’s actually a RINCON 5 open for tours in LA right now. For an appointment, feel free to contact Todd Jerry at (323) 589-4409 x 223. Or if you’re in the neighborhood and want to drop by, you can take a self-guided tour at: Marmol Radziner + Associates parking lot, 12210 Nebraska Avenue (between Bundy and Centinela), Los Angeles, California.
